Students have an opportunity to earn extra credit towards their science grade.  Students may choose any topic related to standards covered in fifth grade science: human body systems, astronomy, simple machines, properties of matter...  After researching their topic, a report is to be done.  This can be a written essay or an oral presentation, augmented by posters or other visual aids.  Satisfactory projects will be worth an extra unit test grade.  If you need any ideas or help with this project, please let me know.  This work should be done primarily on your own time.
